B. Andersen

A Profile
Ms.
Andersen has
over 25 years of successful benefits consulting and administration
experience. She is
recognized as an executive whose leadership style is effective and
pragmatic with a strong ERISA technical background and excellent
people and project management skills.
Throughout her career she has successfully proven herself
to be a consultant who carefully assesses client situations and
provides services tailored to each client.
Ms.
Andersen's experience spans both corporate and consulting, having
worked at small and large corporations directly and in a
consulting capacity with many Fortune 500 organizations. Ms. Andersen built a
consulting department of 35 professionals who provided consulting services
to the clients of a major financial institution.
In addition, she introduced new services (QDRO and hardship
determination) and revamped the 401(k) nondiscrimination testing
services. Ms. Andersen spent
12 years at Coopers & Lybrand, now known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where she was jointly responsible for
developing and building a national compliance review practice.
Ms.
Andersen has been a frequent speaker on compliance related issues,
Form 5500 at ISCEBS and WEB local chapter meetings and at the ISCEBS
Annual Symposium.
She has spoken at the Mid-Sized Pension Conference and also
participated in the plenary forum at the session.
Ms. Andersen was an instructor for the ISCEBS program and the
College of Insurance in New York and served on the Board of the
ASPA Benefits Council of the Delaware Valley.
She
is the past president of the
Central
Pennsylvania Chapter of ISCEBS.
She has also published several
articles on benefits related topics.
Ms.
Andersen is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a
BS in Math. She is also a ISCEBS fellow and member of the charter class; she has also attained the Enrolled
Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) designation.
